One Tree Planted Every Time You Recycle with Ecoactiv
Ecoactiv proudly supports JB Hi-Fi and The Good Guys’ Sustainability Initiative in planting trees within the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor. Every time you choose to recycle with Ecoactiv, one tree will be planted!
The Yarra Yarra is a vital Corridor which stretches over 16,000 hectares in WA – and was once used for farming. Over time, the land became degraded and unusable. Carbon Neutral saw an opportunity to re-establish native vegetation and habitats through reforestation and has since been partnering with businesses like ours to achieve this.

The National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme (NTCRS) helps Australian households and small businesses recycle eligible televisions, computers, printers and related accessories through an approved recycling scheme. It provides a more responsible pathway for common technology items to be collected and processed, helping reduce landfill and support better recovery of electronic waste.
Common NTCRS in-scope and free collection items may include:

- Keyboards, mice, cables, chargers and selected computer components

A Small e-waste Recycling Satchel is $59.00, and a Large Box is $79.00.
This includes postage, handling, manual sorting, and safe processing of hazardous materials.

E-waste often contains hazardous materials that harm the environment if sent to landfill. Recycling safely recovers these materials, helps reuse valuable resources, and contributes to tree planting initiatives that restore Australian ecosystems.
Items are manually sorted to separate reusable materials, including metals, plastics and glass. These materials are then refined for use in new products. Components that can’t be reused, such as batteries and hazardous chemicals, are safely removed and disposed of according to strict Australian regulations.
