Environmental & E-waste Policy
1. Our commitment
The Activ Group Solutions Pty Ltd and its related businesses, including Ecoactiv (together, Activ Group), are independent providers of supply chain, sustainability and recycling solutions across the Asia-Pacific region.
We work with brands, manufacturers, corporates, government organisations and industry bodies to deliver practical sustainability outcomes by applying circular economy principles throughout the product lifecycle — from responsible sourcing and use through to recovery, recycling and reuse.
We recognise that our operations and services may have both direct and indirect impacts on the environment and the communities in which we operate. We are committed to reducing these impacts and supporting responsible environmental stewardship across our value chain.
2. Environmental management
Activ Group maintains an Environmental Management System (EMS) aligned with ISO 14001:2015.
Our EMS provides a structured framework to:
- •
identify environmental risks and opportunities; - •
manage environmental and e-waste impacts; - •
set objectives and performance targets; and - •
monitor performance and drive continual improvement.
This system governs environmental and e-waste activities across Activ Group operations and Ecoactiv recycling services.
3. Legal compliance and pollution prevention
We are committed to complying with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, licences and permits relevant to our operations and services, including those relating to waste, e-waste, transport and data security and to maintaining processes to identify and monitor changing compliance obligations.
We actively work to prevent pollution by identifying, assessing and controlling environmental risks associated with our activities, products and services, and by implementing appropriate operational controls to minimise adverse environmental impacts.
4. Responsible e-waste management and data security
Where our services involve electrical and electronic equipment, Activ Group and Ecoactiv apply responsible e-waste management practices aligned with AS/NZS 5377.
This includes the controlled collection, handling, storage, transport, reuse, recycling and final disposal of e-waste. We apply appropriate controls for the handling of data-bearing devices, including tracking and data sanitisation or destruction, supported by responsible downstream management.
5. Resource efficiency and circular economy
We are committed to improving resource efficiency through responsible waste and e-waste management, including waste reduction, reuse, refurbishment, recycling and recovery.
Through our programs and services, we support strong product stewardship outcomes by helping ensure products are recovered, recycled or repurposed in accordance with applicable environmental standards.
6. Climate action and emissions management
Activ Group seeks to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from its operations and to influence broader value-chain impacts through efficiency improvements and lower-impact solutions.
7. Supplier and downstream accountability
We expect our suppliers, contractors, transport providers, recyclers and downstream partners to operate in line with our environmental, e-waste and data-security standards.
We apply risk-based supplier selection, due diligence, monitoring and review processes to support responsible environmental outcomes across our supply chain.
8. Assurance and continual improvement
We maintain assurance over our environmental performance through audits, inspections, monitoring and management reviews, where appropriate.
We are committed to continual improvement of our Environmental Management System through the setting of objectives, performance measurement, corrective actions and regular review.
9. Communication and review
This policy is communicated to employees and contractors, made available to interested parties, and reviewed periodically to ensure it remains relevant, effective and aligned with our operations, services and obligations.
